Uncanny Automator can publish new posts to your LinkedIn page based on almost any activity and with any content on your WordPress site. Automatically publish new blog posts to LinkedIn, congratulations messages for users that earn achievements, even share new products and courses when they go live.
If you have the free version of Uncanny Automator, you’ll first need to connect your site with a free Uncanny Automator account, which will give you 250 free credits to use with LinkedIn. If you have Uncanny Automator Pro, simply activate your Pro license key to get unlimited usage of the LinkedIn integration.
Once you’ve connected your free account or activated your Pro license key, create or edit a recipe and click on the LinkedIn Pages integration.
Connect your LinkedIn account
Connecting an account is as easy as opening the Actions section of your recipe and choosing the LinkedIn integration. See below. This will open a modal to connect your account.
In the Connect integration window that appears, click the Connect account link.
After signing in (if required), click Allow on the LinkedIn permissions page to let Automator post on your behalf to your LinkedIn page.
That’s it! The account is now connected and Automator can create new posts from recipes.
Publish a post
Once the LinkedIn account is connected, publishing a post to linked in just requires choosing the Publish a post to a LinkedIn page action in the LinkedIn integration.
The action looks like this:
Choose the LinkedIn page to publish to and enter the contents of the post in the Message field. Tokens can be included in the Message area. Don’t forget to change the action status from Draft to Live, then the recipe can start posting to LinkedIn.
