During the beta period, Uncanny Agent is available to Pro – Plus and Pro – Elite users on a trial basis. During the beta, our team may be monitoring and reviewing conversations to improve the performance of Uncanny Agent.
1. Availability
During the beta, Uncanny Agent may be unavailable at any time as we make adjustments to the agent and/or the beta program.
We reserve the right to limit or discontinue any user’s access to Uncanny Agent for any reason solely at our discretion. The beta program may be terminated at any time at our sole discretion.
2. Uncanny Agent and Privacy
Uncanny Agent collects any data that you provide via the chat interface, and any data that it gathers from your site to complete your requests. It does not access any data outside of this scope.
Third-Party AI Services
To provide Uncanny Agent’s functionality, your Input and related data may be transmitted to third-party artificial intelligence service providers for processing. We may use any of the following providers:
Anthropic (Claude)
Google Cloud Vertex AI
These providers process data according to their own terms of service and privacy policies. By using Uncanny Agent, you acknowledge and consent to this data processing. We recommend reviewing the linked policies of our AI service providers. Links accurate as of December 11, 2025. For the most current policies, visit the provider’s website directly.
Third-Party Services
Uncanny Agent utilizes third-party artificial intelligence services to function. Your use of Uncanny Agent is also subject to the terms and policies of these third-party providers. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and any third-party terms, these Terms shall govern your relationship with Uncanny Owl Inc., but you remain independently responsible for compliance with applicable third-party terms.
3. Using Uncanny Agent
Age Requirement. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Uncanny Agent. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you may only use Uncanny Agent with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
What you can do. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may access and use Uncanny Agent. In using Uncanny Agent, you must comply with all applicable laws.
What you cannot do. You may not use Uncanny Agent for any illegal, harmful, or abusive activity. For example, you may not:
- Use Uncanny Agent in a way that infringes, misappropriates or violates anyone’s rights.
- Modify, copy, lease, sell or distribute Uncanny Agent.
- Attempt to or assist anyone to reverse engineer, decompile or discover the source code or underlying components of Uncanny Agent, including our models, algorithms, or systems (except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law).
- Automatically or programmatically extract data or Output (defined below).
- Represent that Output was human-generated when it was not.
- Interfere with or disrupt Uncanny Agent, including circumvent any rate limits or restrictions or bypass any protective measures or safety mitigations we put on Uncanny Agent.
- Use Output to develop services that compete with Uncanny Automator or Uncanny Agent.
- Use Uncanny Agent to generate spam, malware, phishing content, or other malicious material.
- Use Uncanny Agent to generate content that exploits or harms minors.
- Use Uncanny Agent to generate deceptive content intended to mislead others about its AI-generated nature where disclosure is required by law.
- Attempt to extract, replicate, or probe the underlying AI models or their training data.
Feedback. We appreciate your feedback, and you agree that we may use it without restriction or compensation to you. You may provide feedback via our standard support form, or our Uncanny Agent Beta Feedback form.
4. Content
Your content. You may provide input to Uncanny Agent (“Input”), and receive output from the Uncanny Agent based on the Input (“Output”). Input and Output are collectively “Content.” You are responsible for Content, including ensuring that it does not violate any applicable law or these Terms. You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, and permissions needed to provide Input to Uncanny Agent.
Ownership of content. As between you and Uncanny Owl Inc., and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you (a) retain your ownership rights in Input and (b) own the Output. We hereby assign to you all our right, title, and interest, if any, in and to Output.
Similarity of content. Due to the nature of our Uncanny Agent and artificial intelligence generally, output may not be unique and other users may receive similar output from Uncanny Agent. Our assignment above does not extend to other users’ output.
Our use of content. We may use Content to provide, maintain, develop, and improve our Services, comply with applicable law, enforce our terms and policies, and keep our Services safe. Additionally, our third-party AI service providers may process, temporarily store, or use Content in accordance with their respective terms of service and privacy policies, which may include using Content for safety monitoring, abuse prevention, and service improvement unless you have opted out where such options are available.
Accuracy. Artificial intelligence and machine learning are rapidly evolving fields of study. We are constantly working to improve our Uncanny Agent to make it more accurate, reliable, safe, and beneficial. Given the probabilistic nature of machine learning, use of our Uncanny Agent may, in some situations, result in Output that does not accurately reflect real people, places, or facts.
When you use Uncanny Agent you understand and agree:
- Output may not always be accurate. You should not rely on Output from Uncanny Agent as a sole source of truth or factual information, or as a substitute for professional advice.
- You must evaluate Output for accuracy and appropriateness for your use case, including using human review as appropriate, before using or sharing Output from the Uncanny Agent.
- You must not use any Output relating to a person for any purpose that could have a legal or material impact on that person, such as making credit, educational, employment, housing, insurance, legal, medical, or other important decisions about them.
- Uncanny Agent may provide incomplete, incorrect, or offensive Output that does not represent Uncanny Owl Inc.’s views. If Output references any third party products or services, it doesn’t mean the third party endorses or is affiliated with Uncanny Owl Inc..
- Uncanny Agent relies on third-party AI models whose behaviour and outputs are outside our direct control. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or suitability of these underlying services.
5. Our IP rights
We and our affiliates own all rights, title, and interest in and to Uncanny Agent.
6. Termination and suspension
Termination. You are free to stop using Uncanny Agent at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Uncanny Agent beta program at our sole discretion or if we determine:
- You breached these Terms.
- We must do so to comply with the law.
- Your use of Uncanny Agent could cause risk or harm to Uncanny Owl Inc., our users, or anyone else.
7. Discontinuation of Services
We may decide to discontinue Uncanny Agent, but if we do, we will give you advance notice and a refund for any prepaid, unused credits. For the purposes of any refund, Uncanny Agent credits will be valued at 10% of the cost of an Uncanny Automator license.
8. Indemnity
If you are a business or organization, to the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless us, our affiliates, and our personnel, from and against any costs, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) from third party claims arising out of or relating to your use of Uncanny Agent and Content or any violation of these Terms.
