New integrations: RafflePress, Telegram, ARMember & UserFeedback

Uncanny Automator 5.0 is taking a bit of extra time to get just right, so to keep things exciting for our Automator users, we’re releasing several new integrations today. Uncanny Automator 4.16 includes support for 3 new plugins and 1 app: ARMember, Telegram, UserFeedback and RafflePress.

UserFeedback

Only 2 months after its public introduction, the UserFeedback plugin has catapulted to a whopping 70,000 active installs. With its explosive growth, glowing reviews and powerful feature set, we rushed an integration so users could do more with their feedback surveys. In Automator 4.16, we’re adding support for 2 triggers:

  • A user submits a survey (Logged-in)
  • A visitor submits a survey (Everyone)

UserFeedback Trigger

With these new triggers, you can set up recipes to do things like send survey results to Airtable for analysis, send the user a coupon code based on their survey participation, tag them in a CRM, maybe even create a ticket in your help desk to follow up if the survey response includes a certain negative value. There are endless possibilities here for building feedback workflows.

RafflePress

We’re excited to support the #1 giveaway and contest plugin for WordPress: RafflePress. With this plugin, you can use giveaways to grow your email list, followers, and website traffic. Automator 4.16 adds 1 new trigger: Someone registers for a giveaway.

RafflePress has some great integrations, especially for CRMs, but maybe you want to do more. With the new trigger and Automator support, you can have giveaways:

  • Log the registration in Google Sheets
  • Send them a WooCommerce coupon code
  • Register them for a webinar
  • Create a WordPress user and add them to a course, membership or group

There’s a lot you can do here with the new trigger—and even more with the new support we’re adding to Automator Pro. :slightly_smiling_face:

Telegram

Our new Telegram integration, which supports the popular messaging platform, adds 1 new trigger and 1 new action:

  • New trigger: A text message is received
  • New action: Send a text message

So, yes, you could take incoming messages, send them to OpenAI to generate a response and send it back to the user to build your own chatbot, but there are lots of other uses too! Perhaps when new messages are received a support ticket is created in Fluent Support to follow up with the user, or maybe when a WooCommerce subscription expires then an account manager is notified in Telegram.

ARMember

The initial release of this popular membership platform for WordPress adds these new features in Uncanny Automator 4.16:

  • New trigger: A user cancels a membership plan
  • New action: Cancel the user’s membership plan

Yes, more options are coming in Pro, and as soon as ARMember can support additional triggers and actions we’ll get those integrated as well.

Other changes

Behind the scenes, Automator 4.16 adds several performance improvements, fixes, and increases a few timeout values for some app integrations where users have reported (albeit extremely rare) timeouts. Check out the changelog for a full list of the 4.16 changes.
