Every paid Uncanny Automator plan (Basic, Plus, and Elite) includes two types of Uncanny Agent usage: monthly usage and Anytime usage. This article explains what each type is, how each one refills, which one is used first, and how to check your balances.

What is monthly usage?
Monthly usage is an allotment of Uncanny Agent usage that refills every month on your billing date. If you bought your plan on the 15th, your monthly usage refills on the 15th of every month.
- Monthly usage does not roll over. Whatever is left unused resets when your new cycle begins.
- It refills automatically, so there is nothing for you to do.
- The amount depends on your plan (Basic, Plus, or Elite), and higher plans include more.
- It comes with every paid plan at no additional cost.
Monthly usage is meant for your everyday work with Uncanny Agent, such as building recipes, drafting content, and looking up site data. Because it refills every cycle, there is no need to ration it.
What is Anytime usage?
Anytime usage is the yearly allotment included with your plan. It stays available for your whole license term instead of resetting each month.
- You can draw on it whenever you need it.
- It is your reserve for larger projects, seasonal workloads, and busy months.
- The amount depends on your plan (Basic, Plus, or Elite), and higher plans include more.
- It refills once a year, on your subscription renewal date.
How usage is consumed
Uncanny Agent always draws from your monthly usage first. It uses your Anytime balance only after the current cycle’s monthly usage has run out, so your reserve is kept for the moments you need it and you never have to choose which pool to draw from.
If you do use all of your monthly usage in a cycle, Uncanny Agent carries on with your Anytime balance. When the next cycle begins, your monthly usage refills in full and your Anytime balance carries forward from wherever it stands.
How much usage does my plan include?
Each paid plan includes both monthly and Anytime usage, and higher plans include larger amounts of each. If your work with Uncanny Agent regularly outpaces your plan, you can buy a usage pack or move to a higher plan from your Uncanny Automator account.
How to check your balances
You can see your current monthly and Anytime balances at any time:
- Log in to your Uncanny Automator account at automatorplugin.com/my-account.
- Click the Usage tab.
The monthly balance also shows the date of your next refill.
What happens at renewal?
When you renew your plan, your Anytime usage resets in full for the new license year. Your monthly usage keeps refilling on your billing date as before.
If your license expires, access to Uncanny Agent and any remaining usage end with it. Renewing restores access.
Which plans include monthly usage?
Monthly usage is included with every paid plan: Basic, Plus, and Elite. It starts on the day you buy your plan and refills on that date every month after.
Usage you received from a promotion stays available until the promotion’s expiry date, alongside your plan’s usage. The starter usage that comes with a free account (Lite) stays with that account: it does not move to your Pro license when you buy a plan.
Frequently asked questions
Does unused monthly usage roll over?
No. Monthly usage resets on your billing date each cycle, whether you used it or not. Anytime usage is the pool that lasts through your license year.
When exactly does my monthly usage refill?
On your billing date, which is the same day of the month that you bought your plan. The Usage tab in your account shows your next refill date.
Can I choose which usage Uncanny Agent draws from first?
No, and you don’t need to. Usage comes from your monthly allotment first, so your Anytime reserve is preserved automatically.
What happens if I use all of my monthly and Anytime usage?
Your monthly usage refills on the same day every month: if you bought your plan on June 15, it refills on July 15. If you need more usage before then, buy a usage pack or upgrade to a higher plan.
What happens to my monthly and Anytime usage when I upgrade to a higher plan?
You receive the difference in monthly and Anytime usage between your previous plan and your new plan as soon as you upgrade.
Do app credits and Uncanny Agent usage draw from the same pool?
No. App credits (used with app integrations) and Uncanny Agent usage are entirely separate, and using one has no effect on the other. Your app credit balance is on the Usage card at Automator > Dashboard in your WordPress admin; your Uncanny Agent balances are on the Usage tab of your account.
