Triggers are the part of a recipe that specify the steps a user must take to cause the recipe’s actions to run. A trigger can be almost any behaviour that has an associated WordPress hook (Action or Filter). Each recipe needs at least one trigger. If you add multiple triggers, all triggers must be completed before the recipe will run.
A trigger consists of an associated integration, trigger option name, trigger sentence, options, and support link.
The trigger option name is the name of your action and is listed when the associated integration is selected.
The trigger sentence allows the recipe creator to customize the action by selecting the blue button text and to modify the associated options.
The support link when clicked should redirect the recipe creator to a support page that should have docs and/or support.
